Album Description
NEH Records brings you another great Melodic Rock import. The songs on the RTZ “Lost “ CD are from various sessions RTZ as a follow up to the debut album.

About the Artist
RTZ (Return To Zero) began as collaboration between Brad Delp and Barry Goudreau around 1989. Goudreau and Delp were both part of the original BOSTON line up, and after Barry’s departure from Boston the two stayed in close contact with Brad contributing both to Barry Goudreau’s solo album and also to a lesser degree on the ORION THE HUNTER album. Around 1989 Delp was on hiatus from BOSTON and looking to get active in writing again. He contacted Goudreau about collaboration. Goudreau and Gold brought in keyboardist Brian Maes who was part of the ORION THE HUNTER touring band, drummer Dave Stefanelli and bass player Tim Archibald. Maes and Stefanelli had previously worked with producer Nick Lowe in England and Archibald’s band NEW MAN had released an album on Epic. Delp and Goudreau landed a deal with Giant Records and the first RTZ album was released in 1991. A video was produced for the first single “Face The Music”. The band soon hit the road, Delp gave BOSTON his notice and they felt that the sky was the limit. After touring the US extensively, a video was prepared for the single “Until Your Love Comes Back Around” penned by keyboard player Brian Maes originally for ex. J. GILES singer Peter Wolf. The single was very successful and reached No. 1 in several markets. RTZ felt that the band wasn’t getting the attention it deserved by the label and asked to be released from their contract. As RTZ began to shop for a new label, Delp decided to leave to the band and would eventually reunite with BOSTON for the “Walk On” album and tour. The other band members decided that it would be impossible to replace Delp and decided to end the band.

A BIG BRADLEY DELP FAN 2-7-20004
I'VE ONLY HEARD THIS ONCE. BUT I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A BIG FAN OF BRADLEY DELP, ESPECIALLY WHEN HE WAS WITH BOSTON. THIS IS NOT SOME OF HIS BEST MUSIC. BUT IF YOU WOULD GO BACK TO HIS 1991 DEBUT ALBUM, THEN YOU'LL SEE HIS BEST IN ACTION. BUT THIS IS A GOOD ALBUM. PICK IT UP! I WOULD OF GIVEN HIM A 5 STARS BUT ITS JUST NOT THERE.

Gotta LOVE any continuation of that BOSTON sound!!5
This is a FANTASTIC 'lost'2nd c.d. by a great band!!Hearing the soaring (and very melodious) guitar solos on each of these tunes makes you wonder if Mr. Tom Scholz even PLAYS any lead guitar on those first two Boston l.p.'s!!In case you're wondering-BARRY GOUDREAU is the guitarist of RTZ-and does he SMOKE!!Not to mention the incredibly smooooth lead vocals(as usual)of BRAD DELP-also of Boston fame. This one REALLY grows on you!Nobody writes great edgy pop/rock like this any more.GET THIS-you'll dig it!!And while yer at it-try to find the debut c.d. as well!!

This Group Rocks4
I heard about this band a couple years ago and went everywhere to find the cds. I found the 1991 release of "Return to Zero" and "Lost". Both are amazing, ecspecially "Return to Zero". I know Boston just came out with a new cd, "Corporate America"... but I feel that RTZ should reunite and continue writing, everyone deserves to hear the talent on these CD's. If you're into the sounds of Boston you'll dig Return to Zero.
