More Traditional, still lots of fun
I wanted a Jumperoo for my mom's house since our son loves his Rainforest one so much. I bought the Galloping Fun version, despite being worried that it wouldn't be as interesting to him. If anything, he likes it even more! He loves to jump so that's a big part of the magic for him, but the simple toys are still engaging for him, which is great. And in a way its nice to have a toy that doesn't flash a bunch of lights and sirens in his face every 3 seconds. Don't get me wrong -- I know today's developmental toys are great, but this is more old school...the "toys" really are just simple plastic disks that spin, plus the horsey's main and ears are fabric that can be pulled, and that's about it, but he still loves to play with them and he'll jump and hang out in the Galloping Fun Jumperoo for 20 minutes+ without complaint! Also the music and sound effects are really cute. "Woo Hoo!"
Galloping Fun is the perfect name for this Jumperoo!
My firstborn had so much fun in the Jumperoo at her daycare a few years back that we just had to get one for our 5-month-old son. I was worried at first that this version of the Jumperoo might not be as exciting as the Rainforest Jumperoo or Deluxe Jumperoo since it didn't have as many bells and whistles. But, my worries were soon put to rest the moment I put my son in the Galloping Fun Jumperoo! His eyes got wide with excitement and he laughed and smiled for quite a long time. When he took short breaks from jumping, he would touch the mane of the horse or the bar toys and spinners. My son loved the music and sounds, too. He liked his new Jumperoo so much, he bounced himself to sleep!
My little buckaroo loves the jumparoo!
We purchased the Fisher-Price Galloping Fun Jumperoo for my six-month old son to play with at his grandmother's house. He loved it so much we also bought one for home. The seat is similar to the ones on the exersaucers, so he was able to sit securely even though he wasn't able to sit up on his own. My son loves the fact that as he jumps up and down the music plays with a few "yee-haws" thrown in. I would recommend this purchase to others with active little ones, particularly in the 6-10 month range (depending upon child's size and development).
