How much will you pay for a hand towel?
Literally a week ago, Amazon ran these hand towels, in the blue pearl color, for $7.97 each. They are also eligible for the 4 for 3 special and super saver shipping. $8 is the high end that I personally will pay for a hand towel. Now Amazon has them priced at $20 each! Incredibly, the suggested price on the tag is over $31. I cannot rate this item within those price categories because I would never, ever pay $20, much less $30, per hand towel; however, for me, these towels are worth what I paid for them.

The towel is made in Turkey, and they are very soft. The workmanship is first rate, and you will be proud to display them in your master or guest bathroom. Be advised that the color name, blue pearl, is totally misleading. The color is a medium shade of grey. There are no blue overtones whatsoever; you can rely on the color shown in Amazon's picture.

June 5, 2009 update: If you mistakenly, as I did, wash these towels in hot water, they will shrink substantially, that is, two inches in length and another inch in width. They are to wash warm and tumble low. If washed properly, they are fine, but I still would never pay more than $8 a towel.

Nice towels
These hand towels are nice and thick. They are larger than normal and very absorbent. Good value.
