Average customer review:
If you are looking for nice photos of the early Pro Stock era, this book is definitely worth buying.

Since this is a photo archive style book, it does not contain comprehensive, in-depth text about the history of the class.

I have to be frank about the captions for the photos, many are inaccurate and do not fully describe the photos. Hopefully, if there is a second printing, the author and publisher will address and correct some of these text problems.

The bottom line is that if you're a fan of early Pro Stockers and photos from that era, this book is for you - just don't assume that all of the captions are factual and accurate without checking elsewhere.

I'm glad to have this book in my drag racing collection and I think you will be, too!

Pro Stock Drag Racing of the 70's2
Great photos, but the text has more misinformation than Howard Dean.

'70s Pro Stock!5
Some very cool old photo's! Unfortunatly the person matching the captions to the photo's must still be living in the '70s and smoking pot! Some of the captions don't match what is in the photo.

Pro Stock Drag Racing4
For those of us who remember the days when Pro Stock race cars looked like the cars we drove on the street. Well put together photos and descriptions make it worth the price of admission to the pits!
