Editorial Reviews

From the Manufacturer
The new GeoTrax On-To-Go Zoo is an exciting addition to the GeoTrax Rail & Road System that allows kids to take their trains and track layout with them wherever they go! As the new zoo keeper, kids can take care of the animals all around the zoo. This set features the wildest team in all of GeoTown - Spots, a push-along zoo train with trail car and Leo, the zoo keeper.  Pick up food with the trail car and drive Spots around the figure-8 loop of track.  Stop to feed the elephant and lion, then travel around to see the water animals in the printed pond graphic!  To take the set on-the-go, simply fold it in half - the colorful, printed fabric on one side of the loop and the hollow plastic shell on the other create lots of storage space for all the pieces.  Hold the two sides together with an easy-close snap and use the handle on top for easy traveling!  For an even bigger GeoTrax world, use the 2 Y-tracks on the end of the figure-8 to connect more track - everything in GeoTrax works together!

Customer Reviews

great imaginative play toy5
I have a 3 year old son and a 5 year old daughter and we have had this toy for almost a year. It was a christams present to go with some other Geo Trax sets we already had. I was worried about the fabric but it is very strechy and is still in perfect condition. sometime they pull it apart into two pieces but it pops back easily. This toy along with the other Geo Trax toys is a favorite at our house and is pulled out when ever the kids have friends over.

This toy does not have any electric parts. the kids have to move the trains themselves and make their own noises. I like that about this toy because it makes them use their imagination.

Great for anywhere4
My 4 yearold son was put in the hospital due to pneumonia. This was great i had bought it for him for easter but since he was in the hospital i figured if would give him something to do it fit on the bed with him and he played with it for hours i had also brough a remote train from home that he could use with it and he used that train to push the one that came with it...it help soften the blow from being in the hospital.

Son loves it but could be better quality4
My 3 year old son loves the Geotrax trains more than any of his Thomas trains or plain wooden tracks. Thank goodness since they're half the price! He picked this set and upon arrival, immediately went to work. He was busy for more than 40 minutes while I cooked dinner and cleaned. Heaven. Nothing keeps his attention that long.

I loved that the track folded in half without needing to take it apart every time. This will be a great set to take back and forth in the car or to Grandma's house. Unfortunately, our dog loves to "play trains" too, and she put a hole in the "soft" part of this set in the first hour. It wasn't that bad and doesn't appear to be an issue, but that part of the set was made a bit flimsy. For this age group, it should all be solid. Involving fabric in a toddler/young child toy is asking for trouble.

He got slightly frustrated that his other Geotrax trains easily derailed on the tracks, but it wasn't a deal breaker. He made it part of his game. He was also annoyed that the included train didn't make sounds. He's a little spoiled that most of his other sets all have lights and sounds.
