Great glasses for everyday
These glasse are great for use at any time, whether you're just having a glass by your self or at a dinner party. Simple elegance and excellent quality at a much lower price point than Riedel's. Not as thin as Riedel but very nice, no distortion of the color and sturdier. If you want serious wine glasses and don't want to spend a fortune, get these.

Perfect for home entertaining!
I dislike large wine glasses immensely. That's my personal bias, and I didn't enjoy drinking wine from the gargantuan goblets I've had for years, so I bought a six-set of these 12-oz Spiegelaus at a Pottery Barn, and I love them! I had a glass of Sterling in one tonight, and I love the glass, its easy stem, and its perfect size for my face and nose. I love the feel of the glass -- not too heavy, not wimpy; the quality is very, very good, and I love its overall character. The shape is perfect for me and for those who enjoy a smaller-sized bowl or glass shape.

great value, very durable
I agree with the other reviewer. I just want to add that these glasses have survived hundreds of washings over the years in the dishwasher, and have never shown any signs of wear, including scratching or breaking. great value.
