Gorgeous bag. Great for the money. Acceptable short cuts.
This is an absolutely gorgeous bag and you will probably never find one nearly this nice in the price range. I bought this for my fiance for Christmas and he uses it to carry his laptop, portfolio, books, etc to and from work, and when he is on travel. He absolutely loves the look and feel.
The bag does take two shortcuts...1) It looks like a buckle but is really a cleverly hidden metal clasp. And 2) if the clasp is not shut when you travel it clanks against the holder.
You can get a bag that addresses these shortcomings by spending $200-$300 more. I didn't think it was worth it. He loves the bag as is and doesn't mind closing the clasps.

Nice looking and it works well enough for what it is.
Shoulder strap is horrible at least for me. Not worth using. The rubber like pad on it causes black particles to rub off on your shoulder. It also doesn't feel comfortable.
Can't handle weight well like a lot of them. The weight I put in it has been causing it to have a hard time staying up. It just wants to fall over. So now the weight really needs to be spread out perfectly to keep it up.
Not enough room. It only has two main inside sections. The zipper section inside the back main section gets in the way. The front zipper section is nice and the slot on the back can only be used when the flap is closed. Not good for bad weather conditions yet works for a quick pocket.
She loves it--but would she tell me different if she didn't?
I bought this bag for my wife as a Valentines Day gift. She is self-employed and uses this bag to carry everything she needs from client to client. It is large enough and has a good organizer. And she doesn't mind the clasps at all. She especially likes the ergonomically shaped shoulder strap.
