Pure Gold Hilarity5
Although one of my more recent finds in Stand-Up, Mike Birbiglia quickly gained a top spot in my favorites list with his first CD "Two-Drink Mike". His new CD doesn't disappoint with another dose of hilariously awkward anecdotes that resonate with the misfit in me and another not-so-subtle "political" analogy. "Deck accomplished!"

I can't wait for his next CD release.

I, too, like Pasta Fagioli at Olive Garden5
I think this CD is great. I saw Mike Birbiglia's show live and this CD captures the energy of it really well. I tend to pull the CD out whenever I'm stuck in traffic and feeling uninspired by my music. I think the way he tells stories/jokes is very soothing. Heh.

Enjoyable stories but not that funny3
I didn't find this album all that funny, especially in light of its high reviews (as of this writing) here on Amazon. He tells pretty good stories and it's quite listenable--I didn't find myself wanting to turn it off. But compared to Lewis Black, Mitch Hedberg, Dane Cook, or Dave Attell he just didn't make me laugh that much. I would say that I listened to it with a smile on my face but not laughing out loud.
