Editorial Reviews
From the Manufacturer
Gilmour's Mid-size bypass pruning shear is ideal for new growth or green wood, providing a close clean cut. The hook holds growth while blade slides through wood. 6.5 inches overall length.

Junk.
Yet another good concept poorly executed. It changes direction at each end so slowly that it drowns the grass at the ends and barely waters the middle section. It's big, fragile, and so loose that you wonder if it's broken. Also, the adjustment knob is difficult to turn. The only good thing about it is the pattern width adjustment which, while hard to adjust, does provide for a nice range of narrow to wide patterns. Aside from the the drenching it gives at the ends of the sweep, its very nice for watering narrow strips of grass or narrow gardens.
Usefullness Meets Quirkyness
I had never before encountered such a peculiar sprinkler when I purchased this product. It has, however, proven itself very convenient. I have a long, thin garden and used to battle with conventional sprinklers that watered too much or too little. The adjustability of this model is perfect for my little Eden. Good luck.
Works Well - Adjustments are Inconvenient
This sprinkler works well but overall I do not like it:
1. the width adjustments are difficult to change. You have to pinch two tabs and slide the adjuster which bends the flexible tube from which the water shoots out. I seem to have to pinch them very hard and I feel like I am going to break the plastic.
2. It is difficult to exactly adjust the range. This is very inconvenient compared to oscillators that have tabs on the side to control how far in one direction the sprinkler goes. This one has a dial that you have to set - and you have to do it before you turn the water on or you will get soaked because you can't rotate the sprinkler manually - it doesn't budge. So it's a bit of a crap shoot getting it to water exactly where you want it to.
3. It stops for a bit at each end of the oscillation resulting in more water being delivered in those spots than elsewhere.
