Arrakis in the form of a new planet called Chapterhouse, which the Bene Gesserit turns into a desert planet and Miles Teg in the form of a ghola like the other Duncan Idaho gholas.

The answer to Frank Herbert's cliffhanger is continued in this book as Duncan Idaho, Sheeanna, and Miles Teg have escaped Chapterhouse and are hiding from an unknown enemy. This work is based off of a manuscript by Frank Herbert so a lot of the plot extends from that. This book ends with the revelation on who the mysterious enemy is from the 6th book.
