high school musical vocal/piano/guitar
My daughter was very excited about getting this book. She loves High School Musical. When we received it in the mail she sat down to play it and was very disappointed, she is a level 4 piano player and found this music very difficult to play. We thought the easy version would be to easy, so went with this one. We should have stuck with the easier version. Unless you are a really good piano player, I would not recommend this book.
Good representation of the music
I purchased this book since our community theater was scheduled to do the stage version, and our scripts were not coming in for a couple of months. While it wasn't much help for many of the songs (since the stage version completely diverts from the movie in many ways) it did help for Bop to the Top and We're All in this Together.
It is definitely a fun buy for the High School Musical fan in your life.
It's great! My son loves to play the music.
I'm not a musician. I'm just a listener, but everyone else in my family sings and plays the piano. I thought all my kids would enjoy this book, but my oldest son, who is almost 16 years old, has been the only one to really use the book. I enjoy listening because the composition is much like the recordings. I think that's why my son likes it too.
