From the Back Cover
THE AGILE MANAGER'S GUIDE TO GETTING ORGANIZED supplies the insider tips and knowledge used by the most productive people on the planet. These are the people who get results. The ones who make it to the top. Those everybody looks at and wonders, "How do they do it?" Don't look here for goofy time-management systems that turn you into a brisk, clock-watching drone-and that take up more time than ever. Agile managers substitute streetsmarts, insight, and practical techniques for time and undue effort.

This book will show you how to: -Meet any deadline -Get out from under the barrage of paper and demands of others -Eliminate clutter -Prevent fires instead of rushing around putting them out -Concentrate only on the most productive tasks -Organize a project -Leverage yourself and your time through delegation and effective communication -Plan and lead meetings -Gain total control of your life and career

This book can add an hour to your day. That's an extra hour you can use to shine at work--or spend at home with your family or favorite hobby.

Customer Reviews

Far too simple1
Might help you if you have just got out of college, but otherwise forget it. I skipped through in less than an hour: there is nothing in it. Like many readers of organisational books: still looking for the good one.

Short and Sweet, Gets to the Point4
At first review of this book I was somewhat disappointed-the first and second chapters. The information seemed a tired carbon copy of all the other organizational, self help books on the market. It seemed like it was all common sense and elementary in nature. My goal was to get hot tips quickly without the fluff. As I read on, I found what I was looking for. Great tips on saving time by clever delegation and eliminating useless information, meetings etc. I found the tips on what I call "filtering" masses of information very helpful. This book was an easy read and the information was easily digestible. They key points are called out as captions in the book for easy reference. The amount of common sense this book regurgitates is fairly acceptable. These bits of common sense we may find irritating are probably the ones we continually forget to put into action. If you are short on time and need ideas quickly, this book is well worth the small investment.
