Recently updated - old version was great, but new version just as good, if not better. One of the most comprehensive maps of Japan that is available at a good price.

Sorry it was not as detailed as I would have liked- only shows major roads and rails in the major cities----contained no detailed call out of Okinawa

A good product, but could be better.
1. I ordered this map to take to Japan with us, but it had limited value.
2. The map is literally covered with place names in English and Japanese (great idea) but the dark lettering on a dark map makes it very hard to read - we never used it to inquire to the locals about places.
3. On the other hand, the city maps on the backside were helpful - and came in handy to supplement local train maps.
