Definatly an end of the world novel. Took about a third of the book to get interesting but then I could not put it down. Suspending disbelief about clones with memories of the donor was the hardest. A great read!

Read it! I read this when I was a teenager. It's a classic and way better then the movies. An emotional rollacoaster that leaves you exhausted at the end.

What a fantastic book! The language is exquisite even if the left wing politics are thinly veiled at times. A+++++ read. SF Post apocalypse

The WandererThe Wanderer by Fritz Leiber

It's only redeeming point is its insight into 1964 society. Couldn't finish it.
