Not very thorough...
The book is nicely laid out but seriously lacking in thoroughness. I'm going to Cancun in February and our hotel, a major establishment, on the beach is not even listed. I'm also interested in horseback riding. This guide only lists one place - and it's not even in Cancun. A quick Google turned up dozens of places that offer horseback riding.
