    I'm not adept at anything mechanical, and I was skeptical that this would work as easily as advertised. Forget it, it WORKS, and fairly easy too. All that is necessary is to have your shoe in an unmovable position (between my thighs, for me), and then to apply STRONG downward pressure, as you twist counter-clockwise. The "racheting" ability on the cleatcaddy helps a LOT! Clean out the screw grooves on your shoe with an old toothbrush, once you get the old cleats out. Again, a great product.

    Having trouble removing your old plastic spikes from your shoes? I did ... and had several tools designed for just that. They didn't work. I got this one for $11.99 at Dick's Sporting Goods ... it worked ... can't recommend it any higher. I tried and tried with my other spike wrenches ... no luck. You'll like this one! You can install and remove all cleats. Great product!
