Learn how to save money and avoid the lines at the Louvre and Orsay Museums. Enjoy the ambience of Parisian neighborhoods, and take a day trip to the glittering palace of Versailles, or to the Champagne-soaked city of Reims. Then grab a café crème at a sidewalk café and listen to the hum of the city. You’ll see why Paris remains at the heart of global culture.
Rick’s candid, humorous advice will guide you to good-value hotels and restaurants in delightful neighborhoods. Customer Reviews
printing error has been corrected...
I received my guide today and the printing error has been corrected. Although my trip to Paris isn't for a couple of months, Rick Steve's guides are always top notch and have served me well in the past. The purpose of this review is to let buyers know that the errors noted by previous reviewers have been corrected.
Incorrect information printed in this edition
Be sure to check pages 91-100 in this newly published edition of Rick Steve's Paris Guidebook 2010. These pages are from the London book and the Louvre tour information has been omitted. Be sure you get a correctly published version of this book before you take off to Paris!
About 40 pages of misprint from the London Guide
As the previous reviewer mentioned - there has been a terrible printing mistake in this version and pages 91-138 are from the London book, therefore missing the rest of Notre-Dame and whatever was covered between that and the Louvre (which is also partial).
