The problem is not Ritz in general-these Ritz are STALE!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Ritz and buy them frequently in the grocery store. Contrary to the previous reviewer's comment, nothing about Ritz in general has changed. The problem is Ritz from Amazon. I ordered these and tried them within a day of arrival and they were stale, broken and gross. NOT a good buy. AVOID buying these from Amazon. It's worth the extra few cents to buy them in the store. I wasted the purchase price and now will donate what's left (5 boxes) to Meals-On-Wheels. I want my money back, Amazon!

Despite what seemed to be adequate packaging, about one-third of the crackers in each sleeve were broken, so I lost about 5-6 crackers per sleeve.

LOVE these!
Minus the chef celebrity endorsement of this product, they really are awesome! I use these things so much that it's a wonder they're not coming out my ears. These go into recipes, on top of recipes, into soups, stews, you name it, we use it. I love these for dips for parties too - I still think they have the best taste of all these buttery crackers and we just also use them to snack on. Still my preference after all these years, been using them for years, and don't plan on changing anytime soon. Highly, highly recommend!
