Don't be fooled
This is an ok bag but the "Heavyweight Canvas" is a very loose weave,that is to say it wont hold back anything stronger than a light fog and wont suffer much abuse. The lining is 3rd rate thinner than paper nylon. In short a good bag if you are buying for fashion, a poor choice if you are actually going to use it. Look out for inflated shipping costs.

Exactly what I was looking for
This bag is SO much better than the other ones I've seen. I ordered the Jack Bauer bag for my husband, and he likes it, and I ordered this one for me. It's lined and seems sturdier somehow. The strap is thicker. It's an olive green color, whereas the other one looked like dirty army green/brown. Plus this one was cheaper. And there is tons of room. I have a bunch of notebooks and folders, probably 5 inches worth, plus a laptop and a makeup bag and a checkbook/wallet. There's plenty of easy/access pockets for keys/phones, whatever. Great deal.

Decent, but has some drawbacks
After using it extensively for a few months, I can say that the bag is quite durable, however, the primary drawback is that the strap clasp doesn't stay tight, and therefore the strap constantly extends itself, causing me to repeatedly readjust it for the proper length. Also, I've had a few pens fall out the side pockets, so I'd prefer a velcro enclosure on that. Other than those minor gripes, I'm quite satisfied with it
