As a road warrior, you need a small, classy laptop that can also withstand the rigors of travel. This is a great, small laptop as long as you have great eyesight. Reasonably priced so you can buy one for yourself if company policy dictates something less road worthy ;-) You'll need to install Windows 7 to get acceptable performance out of it. Get the extended battery.

Simply cool. It also works quite well for basic powerpoint presentations. Native resolution is 640x480 via VGA connector, but accepts 800x600 and scales it in a way that it still looks 800x600.

I prefer the Linksys model (no longer for sale now?) because you can also use it to share a WiFi connection with your other devices. This one is the next nicest and when at home you can use it to stream your itunes audio.

As a road warrior, you know that one day you will get stuck out in the rain. By one of those tropical rainstorms that rolled in out of nowhere. Stash one of these little guys in your laptop bag.

This is the one I have for now. The picture quality is not great, but lets you get pictures you otherwise would not have gotten. Avoid the newer Olympus models, they seem to have a lot of problems.

I nearly always arrive needing to touch up a shirt. These are small and you can iron a shirt in the time it takes you to say "por favor, necesito de una plancha...."

Indispensable for trips back up to the US and back down, while traveling with a lot of luggage. Bags always full with bottles of cachaças, wines, chocolates, coffee on the way up and likewise with electronics and micro beers on the way back down. Deal with weight issues at home/hotel instead of the airport.
