Customer Reviews

Good Deal For the $$3
I purchased this bag for a recent trip involving direct flights both ways and a cruise. This bag was very roomy and easy to fit my Britax carseat into. There was extra room to fit buky items such as diapers, a swim vest, and a beach bag in the bag as well. After our first flight I noticed approx. 1 inch rips in the bottom of the bag and more rips after the trip home. The nylon of this bag is very thin and apparently not very durable for tough airline travel. It did protect my seat and belongings very well but for future trips I will probably have to reinforce the bottom of the bag with duct tape.

Would've been nice to have a padded option4
We used this travel bag for our daughter's infant seat (Graco SafeSeat) on a recent holiday trip to Denver, CO and Billings, MT.

Based on a couple of other reviews, I was prepared for the worst--a ripped car seat cover and damaged car seat. As an amateurish preventative measure, I "lined" the bag with a down jacket and several baby blankets to prevent damage to the seat and was VERY pleased to find that neither the car seat nor the travel bag was harmed. The zipper still worked and the material, though a little more brittle for the wear, remained in good shape.

Good for gate-checking4
We used this to gate-check a carseat when traveling with our twins (works for both infant carriers and convertible carseats). My only beef is that the material is somewhat stiff. I'd like it if it folded/collapsed more easily when not in use, but perhaps that will come as it gets used more. Otherwise, it's great to have a sturdy bag to put the carseat in, for regular checked baggage or gate-checking. You never know what kind of abuse it will get put through, and who wants to have their child's carseat ripped, stained, or otherwise trashed? This keeps it safe and clean.
