About Graco
In 1942, Russell Gray and Robert Cone formed Graco Metal Products, in Philadelphia, PA. For 11 years, the firm fabricated machine and car parts for local manufacturers. In 1953, Gray left the firm, leaving Cone as sole owner. Cone decided to manufacture his own line of products, but had trouble coming up with ideas. Enter David Saint, an engineer, tinkerer, and stained glass artisan who worked for Graco. Saint, himself a father of nine, was intrigued when an associate told him how his wife would soothe their tired and cranky baby while swinging in a backyard glider swing. Acting on this inspiration, he went to the drawing board and 18 months of hard work later, the world's first wind-up infant swing, the Graco Swyngomatic, was born. Graco sold millions of Swyngomatics in the coming years, becoming one of the world's leading manufacturers of juvenile products in the process. Today, Graco is a Newell Rubbermaid company, with 1500 associates worldwide. While a half-century has brought many changes to Graco, their dedication and commitment to designing and manufacturing top-quality products remains, and continues on.

Mommy of Almost 24
Sorry it's so long, but hopefully insightful!

I originally got this item as a baby shower gift, I think, we may have purchased it ourselves. It's been awhile. Anyway, we got this item before my daughter was born and she will be 3 this July so rest assured I have waited a good long while before attempting to review it. As a bassinet, my only complaint was that it seemed to dip a little in the center so my daughter would have to positioned there or she would roll onto her belly when sleeping on her side (we were very SIDS conscious). Other than that, it served us well in this capacity for her first two months until we decided to move her into her crib. It was deep enough that I didn't have to worry about her somehow rolling herself out of it by some miracle but not so deep that I had to bend too much to lift her out, very important for anyone who has had a c-section (i didn't but I've been told). Not a great place for changing a diaper since this does strain your back a bit if you are taller, my husband is quite a bit taller than my own 5 foot frame and he wasn't pleased with that fact.
The included changing table attachment was a handy idea although I personally was a little on the short side to use it as often as i would have liked so it became more a diaper holder, etc, one other feature I wish this one would have had although we just spent the 20 bucks on a nice little roller cart from Target that held a lot more anyway. For someone even a few inches taller than me, I can see it being a huge help however to have that space for changing, my husband used it often until I started piling the diapers in it. One complaint on this model's changing station as opposed to the slightly more expensive models, is that it covers half the bassinet area if it's attached and detaching it several times a day to lay the baby down is really really annoying but due to the small dip in the center I mentioned, we had to, another reason why it didn't remain in use very long. The higher up models allows you to flip the station to the side, exposing the whole bassinet and then flipping it back when needed.
The mobile was pretty much junked the first month, it isn't much use. My daughter never seemed at all interested in it, it sat too high for her to have noticed it and as others have said, it doesn't really attach securely. Now, its not at all a heavy piece, but still, I didn't want it falling on my new born. Also, it's just kind of boring. No color, no sound, no lights, nothing. Just a few white teddy bears hanging from a pole. I'm not one for over stimulating especially before bed, but a little something would have been nice. Even just a little more color to catch a baby's interest.
The Music and sounds thing. I loved the idea. I loved the idea of the vibration too. In reality, not that great. The vibration we used a few times, however, it's kind of noisy. Not the unit itself, but the way it attaches and rubs against the mattress just grated on my nerves and woke rather than soothed the baby, and my girl is a heavy sleeper. Could be we attached it wrong, but we followed the directions and just couldn't get around the sound. The music was nice, a little on the quiet side even at the highest setting but I suppose I'd rather have it that way than too loud with no way to quiet it. The light was definitely useful and used often at night in those moments when I would wake and had that neurotic first time mom need to make sure she was still breathing.
Ease of use. Before we grew a brain and figured out the right way to break it down and put it up, I hated it. I could never get all the sides to lock in. i'd get two in then one would fall as the other locked and so on until I nearly broke the thing out of frustration. However, once I realized that if you pull the sides up and lock into place BEFORE pushing the center down to lock, and pull up center before trying to unlock the sides, it was very easy and I could set it up or break it down in seconds with no problem. Yeah, I know, I said it was before we grew a brain.
Repacking it was only an issue if i wanted to take the changing station part with us and a little tight fitting if I wanted to take the poles to set up as a bassinet but at least I figured out how to do that part. The changing station never left the house because I never could get that in without having to take it completely apart which was more trouble than it was worth when i had a foldable changing mat in the diaper bag.
It is a little heavy but no more than any other full sized play yard I've tried and it has traveled extensively across the country as well as locally to Grandma's and family. Now, after more than two years of using it, first as I've described, then later as a play pen and most recently as a travel bed for my toddler, it is only being put away because she doesn't fit in it for naps at grandma's anymore, however only for a short while as I am due with our second child in just a few months.
Having said everything above in the interest of anyone who wants an honest opinion, I still would have purchased it in the beginning. For the price at the time (it was a different print but same model), I really did love this play yard. I loved the shape and style, the ease of daily use, and it got a lot of use, and the fact that I saved a bit over pricier models. I would recommend it to anyone and the only reason I didn't give it the full 5 stars is because I reserve that for items I think couldn't be improved without drastically changing the design. Mainly because of the changing table not being easier to move out of the way in a realistic day in the life of a mom and the vibration thing I could have done without because of the noise, it only got a 4 star from me. Had it not had these two features to begin with to find fault with, it would have gotten the full 5.
This play yard is now being permanently being kept at Grandma's (definitely true, less to carry the better!) and for our new baby I will be purchasing the slightly higher model with the flipping changing table. check back in a few years for the review! :)
I will say, having been around babies and baby products a lot in my life, Graco is still one of the only ones that consistently have good quality play yards and I will continue to recommend Gracy Pack-n-Plays to anyone looking.
Hope this helped!

Best thing I bought!5
Being a mom of a toddler and now a newborn, I don't typically have time to rate products on Amazon, but I do use others' opinions to weigh some of my buying decisions. I love this Pack n play! We live in a 2 story home and having the pack n play downstairs is a lifesaver!! I love the changing table and the elevated bassinet that can be removed. I removed the hood or covering because my 4 year old wanted to see the baby and he accidentally pushed the hood out of the way and it landed on my baby. There could be a better way for Graco to secure it on, but I removed it and am still very very happy with my purchase. It also comes with a vibrator/nature soothing sound thing, but I didn't install it as I have a swing if baby gets fussy. I hope this review helps- this really is a great product for a baby girl!

Comes in handy5
I have this pack n play in G Collection. We have gotten our money's worth. We love to travel so we frequently use this as her bed when we are out of town. Its easy to breakdown and set up. When we are home we use it downstairs for naps and as a playpen. Since it comes with a mini changing table you always have somewhere high to change the baby.
My only criticism has been for the mobile. Several times the mobile has fallen in on my daughter. For that reason, we don't even try to use the mobile anymore we just keep it in the closet.
