We found a version that plugs in and can also run on batteries (swing part only, not vibrating bouncer), and this is a completely essential feature! Our baby loves to swing and it buys us a few minutes during his fussy times to eat dinner or grab a shower! He really likes the mother's heartbeat sound too.
