I like the Pampers Line of Diapers. They seem to leak less. Use these for the first two stages, then move on to Pampers Baby Dry. I also like Pampers Sensitive Skin Wipes. Desitin Cream is great to prevent & treat diaper rash. Aquaphor Ointment is great for dry/sensitive skin. Aveeno Baby makes great bath products.

Put on top of dresser for easy diaper changes. Get a few changing pad covers to help keep baby warm and comfy. I like "Ultra Plush Change Pad Cover" by Basic Comfort. The "Pottery Barn Baby" ones are luxurious, but pricey.

This is a great product because you can hear and SEE your baby without disturbing them. So, you'll sleep better, too.

This tub comes with a convenient baby sling for newborns. Versatile, comfortable, roomy, fits in the kitchen sink, good price. Get some hooded towels, too-- Carter's are great. Stock up on washcloths (again Carter's make good ones). A mesh bag with suction cups will keep bath toys clean and together. A bath thermometer is a must-- "4Moms" make a good one.

Good quality kit that has the essentials. Pouch is roomy enough to add all your First Aid stuff (saline spray, infant tylenol, etc). A cool mist humidifier is a must when baby has a cold-- it helps them sleep better. I like the ones by "Crane's" & "Holmes".
