our son slept in this at night for the first five weeks. without it i don't know how much sleeping we would have done. at 8 months he'll still sit in it and swing for a while so i can get some stuff done.

as a new parent you have to write down times for everything, when was the last time you fed and changed the baby and how long it's been since he slept or has been sleeping. this time has a button for it all. i promise at three am you will not be able to figure up in your mind how many hours it's been between feedings. all you have to do is look at your display and you'll know!

i actually made my own ring sling but it is a great thing to have! many times i carried around a sleeping baby while i swept the floors and folded clothes. now that he's 8 months and getting heavier it's a great thing to give my arms a break.

i actually thought that my husband would use this more than i would but i used it a good bit. easily washable and breathable vents for the baby.

my favorite diaper bag by far and one that my husband didn't mind carrying around either. great pouches and large enough to fit pretty much everything.

got one of these as a gift and i doubted i'd use it much but i was wrong! i used it a lot, especially when i was getting comfortable with breastfeeding in public and getting things down pat.

good for a shorter trip out when you don't want to carry around a lot of bulk. very handy and easy to keep out of the way.

a bit expensive but GREAT swaddle blankets. they aren't too thick so the baby won't get hot but they are large enough to keep baby snug for longer than you can with the smaller swaddler blankets.

our son isn't even using it to walk yet but it's convenient to zoom him around the house with us when we need to go to different rooms.

we didn't really start using this until our son was about 6 months old but now we set him in it with a few toys and he'll play and occupy himself for quite a while so we can get things done.
