Do NOT buy this seat!
This seat is wonderful, except for the fact that you cannot adjust the tightness of the straps from the front. In order to do this, you have to unbuckle the seat from the car and do it. Not very convienient when the child switches from a heavy coat, to a lighter one, or not one at all. I was constantly adjusting the straps for my son, and it is a pain when you have to take the seat out of the car, then reinstall it. Not worth it in my opinion. I would rather pay a little more money to have a seat where I can adjust the straps from the front. This product should never have left the plant.

Easy to use, kids love it!!
My family loves this car seat. We have had the first set for my daughter since February 2005 and are buying a second set for my son. (two car family). The strap adjustment is easy, no matter what the other two say. Whenever you take the car seat out to clean it, have the child sit in the seat to readjust the straps if needed before reinstalling. The cover has been through several washings and still fits with no color fading and the cup holder clips on/off easily for cleaning.
All around great car seat for the money well spent.

Nice price, but beware the strap adjustment!
I suggested this seat to my in-laws, as they were looking for something long-lasting and affordable. The fact that you have to adjust the straps, FROM THE BACK OF THE SEAT, is ridiculous!

A comment, on a previous review, suggested that they do that so the child cannot adjust the straps. I don't find that a plausible excuse, as my Cosco Alpha Omega Elite straps can be adjusted from the front, and I have no worries that the children will try themselves, as you have to press a button and pull, at the same time.
