So You Graduated College is a book written specifically for the recent college graduate. Many finance books claim to be for the younger generation, but in reality, they are little more than the typical adult personal finance book with the words “young people” or “under 30” slapped on their covers. So You Graduated College is much more than that. It is a colorful and insightful book packed with valuable information, advice, and personal experiences, which young adults can relate to. Of course it will help prepare the reader for success in the real world, but it is also enjoyable to read and will capture the recent graduate’s attention. So You Graduated College will help the recent graduate... - Gain control over spending habits - Effectively manage and eliminate credit card debt - Make informed and appropriate investment decisions - Understand how to file and minimize income taxes - Purchase a first home - Get the most out of a car purchase - Determine which types of insurance to purchase - Choose amongst the various banking options - Improve their negotiation skills - Understand the benefits of retirement funds - And much more

Editorial Reviews
From the Publisher
The personal finance professor at the University of California, Davis recently assigned an extra credit assignment where his students wrote book reviews comparing So You Graduated College to The Millionaire Next Door (a New York Times bestseller). The book with the most positive reviews would prevail as required reading for the semesters to come. The outcome was vastly in favor of So You Graduated College with 51 out of 64 votes. The consensus: So You Graduated College is most appealing because it explains financial issues in an easy to understand and entertaining manner. The younger generation actually wants to read it.

Useful Utility for those of us done with or about to finish school
Just finishing my masters and with no idea what I'm going to do so I decided to buy a bunch of these "financial guides." This is definately one of the better ones in terms of advice and definately the best in terms of readability. This one didn't make me fall asleep when I was reading it so 2 thumbs up for that. I found the advice given in this book to be good and don't really have any complaints about the book. Too bad it can't get me a job!
Good Read
This book had some great advice, actually changed my career path. Very interesting and readable, especially for a book on finance. Would make a great reader or reference for a recent college graduate, or any interested people. Will definatly make you more money than you'll spend on it!
Very Fun Financial Guide
This really is a book that recent graduates can relate to and will actually read. Helpful guide for financial success and young adult friendly.
