Customer Reviews

KEM cards are the best on the market5
I am 36 and for as long as I can remember, my parents had a set of Kem cards. ONE set... for at least 30+ years. They still play great. I have had 2 pairs (one got "borrowed") and play all the time with no noticable wear and tear.

If there were anything to complain about, it is that they are very smooth. It takes a while to get used to them because they glide across the table effortlessly. When dealing don't shoot them off the other side of the table! Shuffling is odd too because they are so smooth. These are attributes that you will appreciate after you get used to them, but at the beginning they can be tricky.

If they get dirty, toss them in a nylon bag and then in the dishwasher. They are plastic, so they won't get damaged. But use a bag around them to keep them in place otherwise they could fly around and hit the heating element... that would be bad.

I would have given them 6 stars, but alas, I can't.

Nothing compares to Kem, NOTHING is as good.5
I'm a quality nut. I don't care if something is higher priced or cheaper than anything else - if it's the very best quality, then that is what I want. And I can tell you that if Consumer's Buyers Reports did a report on playing cards, Kem would stand so far and away above all others - they'd be marked a best buy even if every other deck cost one fourth as much.

Nothing compares to Kem. I shuffle my cards at least two hundred times a day. I can wear out a regular deck of cards in a week. I can wear out any other washable playing cards in a couple of months. It takes me every bit of two years to wear out Kem cards. For the average card player who doesn't let small children play with their good cards, and doesn't have a mouse - they'll easily last you 20 years without any noticable signs of wear.

I found out I had a mouse once when it made my kem cards his favorite munchie. I sent him packing before I bought a new deck.

No mice? Want the best and the best bargain no matter how much higher priced they are than other cards? Easy way to do that.... only buy Kem cards.

Great value, great quality....5
These cards are awesome. We use these in our poker club and they are great. Every high end club that I have played in uses these cards, and for good reason. Although any brand can be marked or damaged, you really would have to work hard to deface these. They are also washable, so dirt, etc., comes right off. I play at least once a week, for about 6-7 hours, and we have been using the same cards for two years and they seem just as fresh as when we got them. I will tell you that if you are not used to these cards, you might not like the way the feel.....at first. But then, you will love them. You should keep in mind that there are two different sizes. One for poker and one for bridge. The bridge cards are smaller to help you hold them all in your hand. If you are used to poker cards, make sure you get the right size, or they will feel dwarfed in your hand. If you play in a home game, these cards are a must. You won't have to buy another set unless someone burns them. In the long run, you will save by not having to replace your decks. Also, keep in mind that this cards glide very easily, so go easy when you start dealing until you get used to them. Best of luck at the tables.
