Buy used from: $200.00 The Pro9000 is a great printer. I am real happy with my prints. People rave about the Epson 2400 and that is great too. But the best thing about the Epson is its black and white feature. However, I use photoshop to create the image the way I want and I don't want to mess around with it using the printer features.

The images of the best professional will be crap without good photo paper. I use this paper because I have the canon printer. The Canon Museum etched matte paper is probably my favorite of the canon paper. I also love Epson's Ultra semi gloss.

Buy used from: $1,325.00 I actually use an HP laptop that runs Windows Vista. I couldn't find my laptop on amazon so I listed the macbook instead. For digital photography the macbooks is probably a better choice. But there were other reasons that Vista was necessary in my case.
