playset, civil war4
My kid really loved this as a xmas gift. He played with it for hours. The tents are really cool, I'm going to help him paint the fires red & orange to look more realistic.

These are simple molded toys, not expensive models but are great fun to set up with your children and a great addition to other BMC Civil War sets. Use them to teach about the war for "Southern Independence"or the "War of the Northern Aggression" 0r of course you can teach them Yankee lies (ha ha) The point is your can teach them and have fun knocking them down. All BMC's sets are great, and accurate as an inexpensive set can be. My boys loved the sets and love their country as adults. The set I have came with 24 blue figures in four basic hanging around the camp figures leaning on a stick, resting on the ground leaning on elbow, sitting knees to chest, and standing thumb in vest pocket. Also 7 grey attacking figures. I wish all the figures had been camp figures as you have attacking with your Gettysburg set. The tents and wood lean tos are a nice touch for any Civil war play sets. The camp figures can easily be used as wounded on battle field. Paint them grey and you have a southern camp. Can be used as mining camp, railroad and any post Civil War American west scene. These will find many uses out side of the Civil War itself.

not so good1
You get what you pay for. This toy was not very expensive, but since our grandson was interested in the Civil War, we thought he might have fun with this. He thought it was great, but after he got all the men set up, we noticed his hands were blue! The blue paint on the Union soldiers had rubbed off and was all over his hands and our carpet. What a mess.
