Simply a MUST HAVE book!5
Over the years, I have purchased DOZENS of books on Rolex, but they simply pale in comparison to the VOLUMES of information contained in "The Rolex Report".

This book features a very interesting and beautifully illustrated history of the Rolex watch company. Also included are individual histories of the more popular watches they have released. The section on counterfeits is just amazing, as is the section on parts, prices, "basic operations", glossary of terminology, faq... I could go on and on and on.

I have owned the book for only a few weeks, but I have read it cover to cover FIVE TIMES! In my business I travel quite often, and take it with me to read on the plane. It always seems to start a good conversation with the passenger sitting next to me.

Last week I was seated next to a gentleman who was reading THE SAME BOOK. For the entire plane ride we talked about Rolex and this fine book.

I would like to congratulate the author, John E. Brozek, on a remarkable accomplishment in researching these fine watches. You obviously love your work, and I'm very envious.

From a fellow Rolex-aholic I commend you-- WELL DONE!

This book is exactly what I was looking for...5
Review: I have been obsessed with Rolex watches for over 15 years, with over 20 in my collection at present. To help educate myself, I have purchased numerous book on the subject, and I can honestly say that The Rolex Report is the best Rolex book I have ever read--I just couldn't put it down.

There are many Rolex books (of the coffee table variety), with ... color pictures (and a price to match), but for shear content The Rolex Report is the most informative and gives the most bang for your buck. The book is in paperback, and the illustrations are not in color, but the production value is exceptional, and with the book priced under $, it is more than adequate.

This book gives a no-nonsence reference guide approach, with volumes of detailed information on the history of the Rolex Watch Company, Rolex Models, Parts, Pricing, and even an illustrated resource for identifying counterfeit Rolex watches. If you are interested in Rolex watches, then this is a must have book!

Spend $40, save thousands...5
This book is great, period. A comprehensive (if somewhat brief) review of Rolexes storied history, this book also includes many easy to use sections on everything from model histories to spotting fakes to the histroy of time itself. This book packs an amazing amount of useful information into a small space. in fact, my only complaint with this book is that some things do not get as much attention as they deserve. But don't let that steer you away, whether you are a Rolex enthusiast or just a casual owner this book will give you a raft of useful and entertaining insights into Rolex, both the company and the watches.

included are:

Histories of time, Rolex SA, Hans Wilsdorf (founder of Rolex), histories of the major Rolex models, achievements of Rolexes, a great guide to spotting fakes, a guide on how to not get ripped off on line, tons of technical model info, price lists, comprehensive foot notes, reccomended web sites, and fantastic (though not color) photos of watches, tools, movements, buildings et al.

Buy it, you won't be sorry!
