Product Description

This armband will not work for a 5G nano. It holds a 4G nano with a connected Nike + iPod Sport Kit Receiver. (The actual Sport Kit is sold separately.)

The armband is ultra slim, lightweight and comfortable. It fully covers the nano, including the entrance, for enhanced protection during workout rigors. Other features include a hidden pocket to hold a key or money; a clear protective window cover with full navigational control; a cord management flap to control and store the earphone cord; and reflective materials for nighttime visibility.

The armband is washable and adjusts to fit arms 8" - 16". For larger arm sizes, an Armband Extender is available. See model EX3 which increases the maximum arm size by about 6.5 inches.

This armband can also be used for a 2nd generation nano when connected to the Nike + iPod Sport Kit receiver.

Customer Reviews

Good armband - Good protection5
I was a little worried about trying this armband at first because another review said that the mylar was too thick for scrolling and controlling the volume adjustment, but I decided to take a chance because I have an older Tune Belt for an earlier iPod and this wasn't a problem. As it turned out I was able to scroll and control the volume with no problems. I guess it is a little more difficult than without the case, but half the time even without any case, it seems like I end up selecting something I didn't want because the nano's scrolling is so sensitive.

Really, for me, the most important feature is coverage. It seems like a lot of the armbands I've checked out either have open tops or don't fully cover the bottom where the Nike + iPod Sport Kit receiver is connected The last thing I want is sweat or rain getting my nano wet. The Tune Belt armband does a really great job of completely covering my nano with the only opening being where the earphone cord goes in. The back of this armband has a flap that covers the opening and while this is a little inconvenient reaching the hold button I'll take the tradeoff for the protection.

The armband certainly looks like a quality product and is comfortable. I only have two minor complaints: 1) the armband seems a little short. My arms are average and it fits fine, but over a jacket is a little tight; 2) at the bottom of the case where the headphone cord comes out it kind of makes the plastic window cover stick up a bit. I guess this is because the nano is so thin and the only problem is I just have to be a little more deliberate when scrolling. Overall, I am very pleased with this armband and think it is good value because it cost about $10 less than the other armbands I checked out.

Great Product4
I looked at tons of armbands and eventually ordered this because it was the least ugly of the lot, I was worried that it looked so large in the pic. but it's not that large at all and looks great.
I love the little holder for access earplug cord.
It is very comfortable. I am a large armed woman and it fits with just a teeny bit of stretch as not to cut off circulation, it's very comfortable and doesn't seem to slide, although I'm sure it would not fit a large armed man. My ipod works fine in it and stays dry.
The only small complaint I have is that the picture looks like the band is a nondescript gray (which I would prefer) it is actually black.

A good product4
I looked high and low for a 3rd Gen Ipod Nano armband that accomodated my Nike Plus that also allowed me to see the screen and found very few. This one looked the least obnoxious to me. I'm very happy with it so far. It's well-constructed and feels pretty durable. I noticed the complaint in other reviews that the armband is a bit small. I have to agree - my upper arms are what I would call moderately sized - not terribly skinny, but also not Arnold-sized, and it fits me with very little room to spare. I found that it fits very well on my forearm, though. So, if you have relatively big arms, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Otherwise, this armband is great.
