It has all the desired features of its predecessor P635, and like the P645L, has the lock-out mechanism that prevents dry firing of the tool. Versatility is an understatement. Comes with a hard plastic case, 2 no mar tips, non-detergent oil, allen set and safety goggles.

The Grex P650L 23-gauge 2-Inch length headless pinner features grex's patented self-adjusting magazine design that accommodates fasteners from 1/2-Inch up to 2-Inch, a total of 12 different lengths. An added feature is the built in lock-out mechanism that prevents dry firing of the tool when only several pins are remaining, ensuring a pin is driven every time. If necessary, a manual over-ride button of the lock-out mechanism allows the last few pins remaining in the magazine to be driven. Equipped with an extended narrow nose to access corners and tight areas with precision, this lightweight pinner is designed ideally for intricate finishing and trim work that allows secure fastening of the smallest decorative trim with a nearly invisible hole – no splitting or puttying.

why would you consider anything less?
this unit is fantastic and has almost no limitations. The ability to shoot 23g over 1/2 opens up trim options that we feared before ( the labor and aggravation of getting that perfect finish) ...not anymore...the gauge is so small it literally looks like a speck of dust on a the surface and with anything more than a mid finish is untraceable...pull out is a pain if you misfire but that's when cool heads and a pair of lineman's prevails...all in all a must have for finish work

PS: I almost forgot...be careful..this unit has a double trigger..that said once the triggers are armed its a free for all..no nose tip pressure needed to fire so be careful

Every Finish Carpenters Dream
This gun shoots a 2" pin that is micro thin and almost disappears. It sets the nail well and makes it almost undetectable so there is no need to putty the holes. This gun saves a lot of time because you don't have to change guns back and forth, no waiting for glue to dry and no need to putty holes. It has a rubber tip so there is no marking soft wood. It is light weight and a wonderful addition to my tool closet.

You get what you pay for
This is a little high for a pinner but worth it. The ability to use 2 inch pins is priceless. No need to fill the head marks. You can not see them. Grex is great quality also. I've had it for about two months. Just finished a bar project and used this exclusively.
