While the subplot involving Charlie's prep-school crisis plays like a sequel to Dead Poets Society, Pacino's adventurous escapades in New York City provide comic relief, rich character development, and a memorable supporting role for Gabrielle Anwar as the young woman who accepts the colonel's invitation to dance the tango. Scent of a Woman is a remake of the 1972 Italian film Profumo di donna. Scent of a woman is worth every penny on HD DVD. Al pacino's winning oscar role is one or his best movie role to date. I highly recommand buying this dvd on high def. you will not be disappointed.

Charming!
This is a truly remarkable movie. Al Pacino and Chris O'Donnell are the perfect duo. It will make you laugh, cry, and even have you rooting for the guy that no one really likes anymore. Great purchase!

What A Wonderful Movie.
Without giving away the plot line. If you're a Pacino fan. This film is a must see. His character & story line are so strong. He doesn't need a leading lady to bounce off of. He carries it all on his own. It's not over-the-top Pacino grandstanding. It's a touching portrayal. It made me cry. Thanks Colonel.
