price / performance can't be beat4
Grizzly ceases to amaze the ww world. This Tenoning jig is of very high quality. Although its not advertised, the fine tension knob is capable of .001" fine adjustments, although it requires a bit of finger precision.

Only one minor complaint which is why I did not give 5 stars..... The jig moves on its own sliding platform. While adjusting the distance to / fro the blade, the top platform (which holds the wood) can wiggle from square to unsquare, as the top platform does not slide on any type of alignment system. This would be a nice addition to the jig. Of course, this can be compensated by re squaring, but a bit cumbersome. Although I don't recall seeing this on any tenoning jig. So overall, the jigs price performance is superb... and surface area is dead flat, Kudos to Grizzly.

I wonder why the very similar (same?) Shop Fox version of this same jig is 2x the price? Grizz and Shop Fox are now under same ownership....

Wow- What a tool, what a price!5
Ordered on Tuesday-received on Friday!!! Opened the box and laid out all the parts, nothing missing or damaged-Grizzly even supplied the hex wrenches. Main body of tool was well protected and lubricated. Instructions were good and the tips and hints were helpful. HERE'S A SECRET - Save yourself 50%- this the exact same (except color and logo) as the D**** tool at half the cost. On top of that, I'd rather show off the GRIZZLY brand than that hobby shop name. Performs like a dream, tight and accurate.

Tenoning Jig4
I picked up the jig at Muncy and had to clean it up from the protective grease. In the summer I would normally do this with brake cleaner but since it was zero outside, I had to use conventional MS inside.

I had to convert the jig to left tilt, not a problem but the face would not line up to the blade. I had to open up one of the alignment holes but then it worked out fine. The alignment instructions are incorrect and need editing.

BLADE CLEARENCE ADJUSTMENT

. . . .

6. Observe the contact of the saw blade . . . as shown in Figure 11.

. . . .

If the work support plate is not parallel with the blade, go to step 6.

Ugh, I am on step 6.

There are also two item 10's.

But it is working fine right now.
