Great equipment for the money.....
I looked at the Tormek and just could not justify the $400 bite for the unit. Nothing else came close, until Grizzly came out with this unit. It runs smooth and does exactly what I want and need it to. It sharpens tools quickly and easily. I have not tried Tormek accessories, but I've heard that they will fit this unit. Whenever I find that I need something that Grizzly does not have an accessory for, I'll try it and then update my feedback.

As advertised....
Yes, it IS made in Germany (at least that's what the label says). Hard to beat for the price and, while the wheel does have a slight wobble, it doesn't seem to affect sharpening as the wobble appears to be parallel to the shaft. Further, the issue is mentioned in the instruction manual so it's an apparent "engineered feature". Overall tool finish is typical Grizzly, heavy duty, but maybe not the best machining available. It should be mentioned that the 220 grit wheel is probably $75 by itself.

I can't vouch for longevity, but compared to the overpriced Tormek, it's a bargain. The real question is if you'd be better off with a decent 8" bench grinder and some water stones in place of this much more specialized sharpening system. If you have room for both, you won't be sorry you bought the Grizzly.

Grizzly T10010 Wet Grinder
I have tried the Grizzly T10010 with several of the Tormek jigs and can attest that the Tormek square edge jig, trueing tool, long knife jig, and short knife jigs all fit and work on the Grizzly T10010. The Tormek Universal Support with micro adjust did NOT fit the Grizzly T10010 brackets. It is a shame the Tormek Universal Suport does not fit since this would make adjustments much easier and more precise.
It does not appear that the Planer Blade Attachment SVH-320 will work on the Grizzly since it has a support that fits into the brackets on the Tormek machine. This is my only gripe since I would like to be able to sharpen my planer and jointer knives on this machine.
The Angle master tool from Tormek is more accurate and easier to use than the angle measuring tool that is provided with the T10010.
I am very pleased with how well the wet grinder works and I really enjoy how sharp my edge tools are since getting the T10010.
