About the Brand
In May of 2002, sisters Debbie Reynolds and Gwen G. Solberg were enjoying a family outing with their children at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. After a few fun-filled hours in the museum, it was time for lunch. As usual, they had packed their own lunch because Gwen was born with a severe allergy to peanuts. She must stay away from processed foods and has spent her life reading nutrition labels.

While they all dined on homemade sandwiches, fruit and healthy snacks, the other families around them were eating lunch on the go out of vending machines and highly processed snack foods. It was one of those watershed moments when you realize the true necessity of something. After all, neccessity is the "mother" of invention. Debbie and Gwen turned to each other and said, "Let's develop a line of healthy products for kids on the go." Thus, Healthy Handfuls was conceived.

After two long years of planning, development, baking, and determination, Healthy Handfuls, a line of organic, low-sodium, low-fat, nutritious, great-tasting, and convenient snacks was born.

About Their Mission
Healthy Handfuls is an organic snack food company committed to providing healthy, tasty, nutritious, and conveniently packaged snacks for kids on the go.

Healthy Handfuls produces delicious snack foods that are certified organic, use no hydrogenated oils, no GMOs, no preservatives, and contain no trans fats. Healthy Handfuls snacks are kosher, low in fat, and low in sodium.

Healthy Handfuls is concerned about improving children's health. By providing an alternative to unhealthy snacks, parents and caregivers never again have to choose between convenience and nutrition.

Customer Reviews

Pretty good and organic4
My kids, boys ages 8 and almost 5, both like these cookies. They are nice for putting into lunch boxes. The cookies have a nice taste and texture and are sweet but not too sweet, per my 8 year old. And I don't feel bad about them eating sweets when they ask to have these little cookies for a snack.

good for me3
I bought them for my kids but I guess you can trick them ... they are not crazy about them but will eat it if nothing else is offered :)
I do like them myself

Yummy!5
We used to buy Barnum's Animal Crackers, but there are too many cookies in the box for one toddler serving, and she wasn't happy when I had to take away the box. Then we found these little gems.

My 2-year-old loves these little cookies! They taste great, and the portion is child-appropriate (now I can give her the whole box.)

Another bonus: Giving her snack in a box is much more car-friendly than one of those 100-calorie foil snack bags.
