About the Brand
As a registered nurse and natural foods chef, Raw Indulgence founder Alice Benedetto had developed a passion for preparing and eating raw foods. So when the raw snacks she made as an alternative to high sugar processed snacks for her high school son became so popular among his friends, she started selling them. Raw, living foods are cleaner and have higher nutrient content than cooked food. Processed foods such as protein isolates and grain-based fillers are acidic and cause fermentation in the body. Raw Organic foods are closest to their natural state, bringing us closer to healing ourselves and the global ecology. Raw Indulgence products, including Raw Revolution bars, are gluten free, vegan, free of wheat, corn, soy, trans-fats, cholesterol and refined sugar.

Like a raspberry chocolate brownie.
This is a very tasty treat. 250 cal., 13g fat (2g saturated), no cholesterol, 29g carbs (19g sugar, 4g fiber), 6g protein. It has 16% daily value of iron. Plus it has a very chocolate-y taste with real raspberry flavor. Looks a little like a brownie.

The Raw Revolution 'Raspberry & Chocolate' bar is quite excellent! This bar has the sweet tanginess of raspberry combined with a deep, full bodied chocolate, similar to a dark chocolate. I highly recommend the 'Raspberry & Chocolate' Raw Revolution bar!

Best gluten free stash for a celiac!
Never feel abandoned in the food court -- just carry one of these and you will know you always have something very good and very safe to eat! All the Raw Revolution food bars are wonderful but this one is the best imho.
