This is a Beautiful Book
Finally, a Cottage Decor book with pure class. I rarely leave reviews but felt a overwhelming need to share my thoughts. My first thought just looking at the pictures, WOW! This book is packed with many inspirational ideas that is very doable for anyone interested in creating a home in beautifully updated Cottage Style. If you like Cottage home style, this book will give you a fresh new approach to all types of Cottage Decorating. As a Interior Decorator, I highly recommend that you get this book. You will not be disappointed!

Just a wonderful book
This is such a terrific reference book. The photos are all just gorgeous - it was a treat to page through and peruse. Text is full of tidbits and hints - a must for any decorating afficianado. Today's country is simplified and elegant. Enjoy!

Expected more...
For those of you who love lush and beautiful photographs, this book will disappoint. The photos are faded, especially sunny rooms which look washed out. I would highly recommend Cottage Decorating by Sunset and Cottage Style by Mary Emmerling. Although the latter is from 1998, the photos are still fresh and bright.
