Great for home-schooling
I bought this as part of the curriculum I am using this year for my 7th grader. It is an excellent tool for covering all aspects of science and grade level appropriate. I did not give it five stars though because there were a few lessons in the book that support the evolution theory (man came from apes ect.). This is something we do not believe as a christian family. However, I simply took those lessons out. All in all, a good book and I will purchase it again when my younger kids reach this grade.

Seems great but not really
I bought this product to help catch a young man up to speed in Science who will be going into eighth grade. To me it would be more considered a reading workbook than a science workbook. I know that it is hard to teach science and sometimes it is just reading and answering questions but I was expecting something different. Some of the answers in the back are just restating the question. Anyways, depending what you want it for it could be beneficial.

Nicely organized. Good for reading comphrehension. I would like to see more hands on projects to reinforce what we are learning.
