Great book!
This book is excellent for someone who is interested in using pet therapy. I love that it is theory based, and goes on to explain the proper way to apply theory to pet therapy. I would highly recommend it to someone that is looking to learn more about incorporating pet therapy into their work.

Fabulous Book ... Very well organized!
I am a graduate student and this book was used for one of my last courses - Brief Therapy. I did a presentation on Animal-Assisted Brief Therapy using the Solution Focused Approach. This book, along with many journal articles made this project run so smoothly. Easy read, yet full of valuable knowledge. At the end of the book are lists of organizations which was very beneficial as well. This subject is so important - animals provide so much "unconditional love" and they are incredible as a therapeutic modality. Thanks ... hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
