Customer Reviews

Bit of a Bummer2
I was hoping to receive what the title of this book offered "Instructions and Tools for 20 Snuggly Projects". This is inaccurate, the kit includes needles and yarn for the baby booty project included in the kit and I'm not a particular fan of the pattern.

Here's the real bummer, the circular needle that came with the kit is so cheap it's crazy- the needle fell off the nylon as I took it out of the package. I hadn't even used it (and now won't). The included yarn is yellow, too, and not a cute baby yellow in my opinion (though this is hard to review as we all have individual color preferences.)

All the patterns are on cards, which I thought I would like.. but I don't because now I have to keep track of all these cards rather than a book..again, personal preference.

I feel like this was a great idea that wasn't done well. A nicer yarn and needle in the 'kit' would have made this a better deal for me, but I'm wishing I hadn't bought it.

Don't Bother2
This "kit" includes the smallest amount of yarn along with very poor plastic needles to create booties that are very difficult to make. This is definately not for someone who wants to learn to knit a project. The instructions in many other books are much better. There are also few photographs to help you along if you get stuck on how to proceed. The rest of the projects are all given on cards which I do like so that if you want to take a project on a trip, you don't have to take an entire book to work on a single project. This aspect of the kit is a good idea. This is an expensive kit with little to offer. Buy a good book instead!
