Risk Management book
We purchased one copy of this book and realized it is a valuable tool for colleges and universities that have libraries. Therefore we purchased more copies to distribute to the Risk Management staff.
Risky Business
Reading about the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina was heart-wrenching. Although avoiding all risk is impossible, three library experts explain how to manage it in Risk and Insurance Management Manual for Libraries. Authors Mary Breighner, William Payton, and managing editor Jeanne M. Drewes provide practical advice on how to protect the library's assets. They explain how to identify, quantify, and evaluate risks; cover risk financing and insurance; and include sample policies and checklists.
