Customer Reviews
good Book
I liked this book. It should help you in your recovery. With over 20 years of continuous sobriety, I would also heartily recommend the book An Encounter With A Prophet. The book perfectly addresses every issue that has been brought to me in the last 20 years by Alcoholics and Addicts in recovery.
A spirtual Journey, it does not say it will be easy.
This book has taken me and a group of struggling addicts and co-addicts down the raod to recovery. Each step has reading and related scripture to help you through the pain of honestly answering the questions . As a group tool I have read no better. A great study guide for anyone who wants to honestly take a look at themselves and began the spiritual journey of change.
The "REAL" next level.
Finally, I realize I am not the only one who knew Jesus Christ was/is my Higher Power; He has to be the Force behind what drove me. The Christian tones of Bob and Bill are revealed at root level of what inspired them to start AA. Scripture will be revealed in such a powerfull way to those of us who have for so long be rejected and despised because of our disease, to find that we have a more powerful witness than those that have not reached our depths. The lowest shall be the highest, the last shall be the first. You will keep this book and you will give it away. David B.
