Editorial Reviews

Review
Throughout their lives people understand they need the help of certain professionals: a doctor, dentist, and sometimes maybe even a lawyer. Too often, they find out too late that they should have included a financial planner in that group, and the time usually only comes when they want to stop working but can't. This book will help people avoid that 'oops' moment. --John Crudele, Financial columnist, New York Post

When the nation's leading professional financial planning organization publishes its first book for consumers, you would expect to read an excellent book. The FPA Press will exceed your expectations with The Encyclopedia of Financial Planning. --Al Duarte, VP of Education, InCharge Education Foundation, Inc.

Good recap of financial topics4
If you want a quick read on topics pertaining to financial planning, this book is a good desk reference. It doesn't go into detail but hits the main points on topics from investing to estate planning. It is not technical so easy to understand the writing. The writers are from the Financial Planning Association, which is made of the top Certified Financial Planners in the country, so you the know information is reliable. Use this book as a start or as reference to whatever financial questions you have, but it is not a replacement for individual planning help.
