Gerald A Price, MA is an avid golfer who also serves as the Senior Pastor of Sturgeon Bay Community Church in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. He is a state-licensed professional counselor and seminar leader dealing with marriage, family and issues involving habitually irresponsible behaviors. Out of his work he has developed the star energizer, a tool that measures a person's level of success by the way they think.

A challenge
Although more editing would have improved the readability, the message of Price's work is worth the little bit of extra effort. His insights are based on Biblical instead of Freudian psychology. I highly recommend the book for anyone who works in a correctional setting OR a congregation. The twisted thinking games are the same. Proverbs 20:27 "The spirit of a man is the lamp of the LORD, Searching all the inner depths of his heart." Twisted Thinking Transformed has the potential to help each of us trim the wicks of our lamps to shine more brightly in the lives we touch.

A change awaits
This book will make you think not only about your own thinking and behavioral patterns but also help you to understand the behavior of others. This book is Bible based, filled with scripture, and therefore life changing. It is straight talk about the 'twisted thinking' we have and holds you accountable for your behavior while giving you the way to transform your thinking which in turn will change your behavior to be God honoring and loving towards others. We are using this book in a small group setting. I think it is best to use it in a group because you can share your thoughts and also be accountable to one another with your own 'twisted thinking' patterns.
