"We are the keepers of an intuitive intelligence so powerful it can tell us how to heal," says psychiatrist and practicing intuitive Judith Orloff, M.D. "We all possess within us an intuitive healing code that contains the blueprints for our health and happiness, and for the survival of everything that is good here on earth." Dr. Orloff’s aim is to teach you how to tap into and train your own intuitive powers and use them for your well-being. She divides this audio into three parts: "The Body," "Emotions and Relationships," and "Sexual Wellness." She teaches five steps to intuitive healing, which she defines as "listening to your body's signals--your inner voice and heart, your spiritual connection--to find out how to become more physically, emotionally, and sexually whole." According to Orloff, these steps apply to every health challenge, as well as every emotional and sexual issue:
-Notice your beliefs.
-Be in your body.
-Sense your body's subtle energy.
-Ask for inner guidance.
-Listen to your dreams.
Orloff is articulate and warm, inviting you to make her world your own with clear explanations, practical strategies, and numerous detailed, personal anecdotes

From AudioFile
A well-known psychiatrist and intuitive healer gives a seminar on developing one's intuition. The program's package describes what's on each of the six cassettes; the actual segments follow the outline in theory, though in practice Orloff's fast-paced stream-of-consciousness delivery is unfocused and repetitive. But even if you're not a devotee of the practice of intuitive thinking, much value will be found in this narrative by staying as open as you can to Orloff's suggestions for sensing things around you. In this end, this is a fine introduction to the art of living intuitively that, with the written table of contents and workbook, offers valuable insights in spite of its lively, sometimes formless, presentation. Brillantly done
A lot of the books written on the subject seem to miss the point with glossy covers that entice you to buy - "Almost a cigar", but here, Dr Judith Orloff is smoking Havanas with her book "Intuitive Healing".
It is well written in an easy manner and guides you through a process of feelings, rediscovering your body's signals and what my ancestors knew long ago - trusting your inner voice, your spirit, to guide you through some of life's decisions - a skill we have come to ignore in these busy times. The examples she gives in the book rennosante with me and gave me insight and brought tears to my eyes as they touched my soul.
I recommend the book to those who need a little guidance in their life and also for those who do not, as this books re- acquaints us with some of the life's skills that were ours once - Brilliantly done
INTUITIVE HEALING - 5 STEPS TO DEVELOPING INTUITION
I am in the process of listening to the tapes from Intuitive Healing - Five Steps to Developing Intuition by Judith Orloff, M.D. I am enjoying them so much! Because I have experienced anxiety and panic attacks for most of my life, I was afraid that maybe listening to information about intuition would make it worse. It hasn't, and I find it extremely fascinating. Dr. Orloff is very easy to listen to - it's like you know her, and she has a great sense of humor. She comes across so down to earth. When I am finished with these tapes, I will defintely look into purchasing some of her other work. I can't wait to start my dream journal.
Very Good
Judith has a different style of delivery and beliefs than a colleague of her's Mona Lisa Shultz, but she has her own experiences to relate to, differnt to Mona Lisa, and as we progress as a society to listening intuitively to ourselves, we will be able to heal so much more in our bodies, especially as we learn to recognise why the injury and illness is there in the first place
