An outstanding reference book on propagation of plants
I have been reading Mr. McGroarty's email newsletter for quite some time and really appreciate and agree with his philosophy toward gardening, so I decided to buy his book. I think it is a very easy to use and practical book. It won't gather dust on my bookshelf like most of my gardening books do.

The gardener's wife...

My husband has always been the landscape and gardening lover, but both of us have come to love Mike McGroarty's tips on everything to do with plants.
I bought this book for him as he is suddenly attempting to start his own landscape and flowering plants instead of buying them. This is enough to get me interested. Since reading the book, he is more excited than ever, 'layering, and rooting, and saving seeds from everything'. Besides saving money, he takes a lot of pride in doing this creative thing. If you love plants and hate buying them... this book is for you.
