Customer Reviews
Great ideas!
I've been scouring the internet for ideas for invitations, table decorations, and favors for quite some time now. I wasn't having much luck finding anything that looked nice and not cheaply made which also had clear and easy to follow directions. So I finally decided to buy a book, and I'm so glad I bought this one! There are ideas in here for all kinds of things, from invitations and guest books to table confetti and candle wraps. One of the cooler things in the book is a flower vase made out of a polymer coating and a paper bag! Yes, a paper bag vase! I can't wait to try that one out! There may not be step by step pictures for each project, but if there were you would be lugging around a 15 pound book! And the instructions in the book are easy to follow. So if are like me and have a hard time finding things you like on the internet, I would definitely recommend this book!
Not worth buying...get it at the library
This is a so-so book, at best. It doesn't show that many ideas, and they are largely focused towards invitations. If you're not making your invitations, this book probably isn't worth looking at. There are a few things to glance at, but all in all, this book shows nothing new and isn't really worth buying. I was disappointed by what was in the book---with a very few exceptions, it's all about using different papers to make invitations.
This book has easy to follow directions in back on how to do everything and has many cute ideas.
They mainly have the how-to of wedding invitations so if you are looking for a variety of ideas this isn't the book for you.
