About the Author

Diana Fisher is a widely published illustrator whose artwork has won her a scholarship as well as several scholastic and advertising awards. She studied fine art in New York and computer graphics in Arizona. Before concentrating on illustrating, Diana was an art teacher to children with special needs, a graphic designer, and a portrait artist. Diana paints in a variety of different media, including oil, watercolor, and acrylic. Diane lives in Tempe, AZ.

This is a Good Book!5
The book says Art For Kids, but this is a good book for anybody who wants to learn how to paint. The instructions are clear, simple, straight-forward precise and to the point. You'll be painting in no time. The book teaches you about all paints except oils. There are projects on watercolors, acrylics, and gouache paints. Clear pictures, and simple yet rewarding projects. I have lot of expensive adult painting books. I bought this book for my daughter, and I ended up using it more than her. Also this book took the intimidation our of starting to paint. I've been painting ever since.
